GTN would like to notify all customers and interconnecting parties that we have been notified by the upstream operator Foothills B.C. System of a slug of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) that will reach GTN’s pipeline system the morning of January 13th, 2024. GTN is taking steps to try to blend and mitigate the high H2S; however, given the speed in which it is traveling, customers and interconnecting operators might experience the high H2S at their metering facilities. All information is based on GTN's current understanding of the situation and is subject to change.
